I always keep a close watch on the facial expressions of the judges.
Do they 'get it'?
Does the value prop hold up?
BTW - you should be doing a similar exercise next time you pull booth duty at a convention or trade show. Limit your pitch to 30 seconds, and watch their eyes. Are they lighting up? Do they get it? Does it make sense?

If not, change up the vocabulary, cadence, and story, and try again.
