Spend less time on days of the week, and shift that energy, and investment (I have a friend in the meeting business), there are hours of work time waiting to be unlocked by reducing recurring meetings (frequency, duration, attendance, or occurrence).
Count the hours in meetings weekly.
Meetings like email, are huge productivity leverage points.
Management coupled with ruthless prioritization to protect yourself, or they'll eat all your time.
