Still the skills of today might be automated away tomorrow.
What skills are less likely to be automated and are more important than ever in the information environment we're surrounded in?
Critical thinking is more important then ever.
Don't take things at face value. Check for some independent confirmation and validation.
Did you hear the one about Jared Goff having 5 games in which he threw 4 interceptions, and won them all?
Seems preposterous, is preposterous, (Contrary to nature, reason, common sense, absurd) and yet, was repeated, as truth on the Pat McAfee show on ESPN, a global network in the business of sports, without anyone taking 30 seconds to fact check this non-sensical tweet.
We don't need sophisticated deep fakes to spread disinformation.
Just a random illogical thought, pulled out of one's backside for entertainment, is now treated as truth, just because someone said it on the internet.
Please don't take things at face value, or because anyone said it, especially if it sounds non-sensical, without doing a bit of checking. We're in the golden aga of disinformation. Scary and dangerous.
