We have too many meetings - Brian Elliott

1

We spend all this time on days a week in the office. We spend so little time on something that executives and employees agree on, which is we have too many meetings - Brian Elliott

Start laying out some new programs and put some constraints, like core collaboration hours. You also have to help people convert what would have been a meeting into an asynchronous set of behaviors. - Brian Elliott

Please, we don't need to do the weekly pipeline review live and in person as a sales team every week do we? - Brian Elliott

------

Teach async behavior, document first, distributed, digital, in sync meetings should NOT be the default way to move work forward

If organizations want to move the productivity needle, shift the investment focus from days of the week to taming the SMB aka 'Synchronous Meeting Beast' who turns days into Swiss cheese and drives real work (uninterrupted time blocks), to the wee hours of the morning, or late into the night.

Good News. Brian, Darren, Annie, and Dominic all like to share what's worked for them.
