This is my fifth wave: client server, web, mobile, cloud, and now GenAI. - Chet Kapoor
We started with a vector database. We're going up the stack to give developers an opinionated view from open source technologies on how they should build apps. - Chet Kapoor
Builders got to build.
Developers got to develop.
For those of us who have been a few of these waves,
The frequency (spread between waves) and amplitude (height of each wave), continue to build and clime on one another at a exponential rate.
The Wright Brother's flew in 1903, Autonomous drones and planes are changing warfare today, and commercial flight tomorrow.
The first consumer car, the Model T was introduced 127 years ago in 1980. Now Waymos drive our cities autonomously.
The first PC was only introduced 44 years ago, and today we have the worlds information at our fingertips.
What will today's GenAI plus a few decades of development turn into?
What will builders build?
