Email is really challenging. What is a healthy relationship to email? It starts with being able to screen and sort.
We use subject line headers [inform] [input] [action] that help signal the necessary move for the recipient.
Process in batches. You should not graze email all day, because grazing is distraction.

Tame the email monster. emails, along with inefficient meetings protocols, burn at least at much productivity as commuting ever did. Reduce distractions, increase blocks of uninterrupted focus, work time.
